My Future
There is a large variety of aspects in physiotherapy such as sport and stroke rehabilitation so I hope university gives me insight into what path I want to take
Choosing My Destination
I definitely knew I wanted to go into the healthcare sector so I did some research into the options and decided physio was for me. I already enjoyed science based subjects but looking at entry requirements is also helpful for deciding your subjects. Also looking at what the course involved on the university website influenced me as it was very practical based and involved working with a range of different people
Extra Curricular & Work Experience
Helping out with Generation Project at Care Home. Dancing, I went to Dance World Cup. Attending online events relating to my course. I did Work Experience in S1 classes when in S6
Skills I've Developed
Active listening
Leadership
Teamwork
My Advice
Keep an open mind to different options and don’t have your heart set on one specific course. Throughout school I considered different options of what to study. By S6 I was sure I wanted to apply for physio. Read through what the course involves and reviews of people that have graduated
