In S5 I wanted to go to medical school but my results changed my direction to Engineering

Choosing My Destination

I used apprentceship.scot to have a look and realised that you could get paid and study all at once. This was a game changer!

Extra Curricular & Work Experience

Piano, guitar, coached from the age of 14 with Falkirk Junior bike club, part time job in Dorothy Perkins and McDonalds

Skills I've Developed

Communication skills and confidence - led a range of ages. Teamwork and working under pressure. Coaching experience gave me answers to interview questions and time management

My Advice

Don't worry if your plans change or you are not sure what you are doing. You have to find something you are happy with and that can take time - give everything 100% until you find something
