My Future

I would like to go to Edinburgh to complete a BA (Hons) in Film and TV. I hope to go into an onset role of some sort to begin with - with the end goal of becoming a cinematographer or director

Choosing My Destination

I loved my English course in S1 which brought in media and that is where my interest began. There were pupils above me at school who were going into similar courses and I was introduced to them through media and I was inspired by their plans and researched it myself and knew that was my path. The heads of Media in English influenced me

Extra Curricular & Work Experience

I took part in Into Film YAC - Youth Advisory Council. I did a BFI animation course. I did loads of editing in and around the school for different teachers, subjects and partners. For example I did a documentary for Strathcarron Hospice

Skills I've Developed

I have improved my communication skills. I increased my confidence and I am now more adaptable

My Advice

Get yourself out there and get involved in everything and anything to find your stepping stone to what to love. Seek advice from others, you don't have to do it alone!
